A Portrait

Writing has always been a means for me to express myself in an unconventional manner. I have always wanted to write but have either been too busy and/or too lazy. The latter usually was the common occurrence for me during my high school years. Too infatuated with the high school life, the common ground. Now finding myself in the first week of college I realize how much different, and perhaps better it is than high school in terms of classes, freedom, etc. But another difficult task of college is making friends. I am having trouble in that department with only about two exceptions. Perhaps I need to be more open and accepting of people in my large University. Perhaps not.
